Penang Chew Jetty

There are seven clan jetties along Weld Quay: Lim Jetty, Chew Jetty, Tan Jetty,Tan Jetty,Lee Jetty, Mixed surname Jetty, Yeoh Jetty and Koay Jetty.

Chew Jetty, an old Chinese Waterfront settlement.Also, one of the largest and liveliest jetties at the end of Gat Lebuh Armenian. The village is built on stilts over the sea and populated by members of the same clan, with a large community of petty traders, fishermen, stevedores and the families.
