After three successful programs, Mean Machines (M2) 2010 will return to the Highway Autocity for its fourth presentation (longest successive motorshow and performance motorsport event in Malaysia). Dubbed the largest motoring event in Malaysia, M2 2010 aims to draw in more than 80,000 international and local visitors checking our the meanest modified cars and to purchase special event-only price items from exhibiting companies. 潘裕文、 周定纬与许仁杰自去年10月发行星光合辑2 《爱.星光精选》后，表演活动不断，除了台湾的演出，也与其它星光战友在於海外举办了多场名为星光同学会的售票演唱会，增加了许多舞台表演经验，在演出之外，公司也安排了歌唱、表演及健身课程，希望他们歌唱技巧能更精进、肢体表演更具魅力，也希望维持最好的体能状态，有助於表演时的体力与肺活量。在经过这一年多的磨练后，三人真的由里到外都蜕变不少，为了不让歌迷等待太久，让大家第一时间看到三人的进步与成长，华研唱片为三个人量身打造专属EP，当作是他们个人努力的成绩单，交给歌迷们来评分。

星光三少的个人EP，以接力的方式一周推出一张，第一棒将由潘裕文的《夏雨诗》开跑，第二棒则是周定纬的《SO WHAT》，最后一棒则交给许仁杰发行的《梦见》。

会采取三人轮流接棒的方式发片，除了不希望有兄弟阋墙的PK感觉外，主要希望大家能分别看见并听见每个人各自努力的作品，不论是制作物与包装，都符合大家对他们的期待。但发行时间相近，又能在宣传上并肩作战，相互扶持和鼓励，因此才会决定以一周一片的时间点来做发片的规划。
